Making SEAQUIP an impactful and responsible event for our community

SEAQUIP is committed to organising an event in an environmentally and socially responsible manner.
As a meeting place for the yacht and marine equipment industry, SEAQUIP brings together the people, technologies and ideas that can help shape a more efficient and responsible future for the nautical sector.

SEAQUIP is organised by Easyfairs. As part of the Easyfairs group, we are committed to making our events more sustainable, inclusive and valuable for the communities they serve.

Easyfairs is a member of the Net Zero Carbon Events pledge and is committed to achieving net zero by 2050 and halving greenhouse-gas emissions by 2030.

Through the Act for the Future strategy, Easyfairs works to reduce the impact of its events, support innovation and contribute positively to society.

Our main initiatives

Production & waste

Our Smart Badge technology allows exhibitors to share their information digitally with visitors. Visitors can receive exhibitor information without needing to collect printed brochures. SEAQUIP communications, exhibitor information and event updates are available through digital channels.

Travel & accommodation

During registration, we ask visitors how they plan to travel to the event. This information helps us measure the carbon footprint associated with travel to SEAQUIP. We encourage visitors and exhibitors to consider public transport, car-sharing and other lower-impact travel options wherever possible.

Social responsibility

Sustainability is part of the conversations and content shared at SEAQUIP. We provide a platform for start-ups to present breakthrough innovations to the nautical industry. We foster innovation through the SEAQUIP Innovation Gallery. We strive to be an inclusive event team and embrace diversity in all its dimensions, with equal opportunities for all.

Freight & logistics

Easyfairs’ all-in stand model is designed to reduce transport emissions and waste. We encourage exhibitors to consolidate shipments where possible. We encourage the selection of suppliers and logistics partners that apply responsible practices.
