Rohacryl™ - Recyclable structural expanded PMMA

A new foam material under the Evonik brand. Rohacryl™ is a recyclable structural PMMA foam, ideal for sandwich composite applications in the nautical, transportation, and energy sectors. Its main advantages: High stiffness even at low densities, with a better strength-to-weight ratio than PVC and PET. Low resin absorption, thanks to the isotropic closed-cell structure. Easy to process and thermoform, compatible with RTM and infusion processes, with resistance up to 120°C. Sustainability: recyclable, CFC-free, and with low environmental impact.
