About us
Established in Viareggio in 1976, Versilia Marine Service is specialized to sale and maintenance the safety equipment for yachts and commercial vessels. Today operates throughout Italy and French (south coast) supplying safety equipment (LSAs and FFE) such as liferafts, lifejackets, EPIRBs, portable extinguishers, and more, with full certification. VMS also supplies and repairs both leisure and professional inflatable boats; since 2022 is the official U-SAFE dealer for Italy. Since 1996 VMS works in compliance with the standard UNI EN ISO 9001 (QUALITY SYSTEM CERTIFIED). In 2024, the company has decided to go a step up in respecting the environment installing photovoltaic panels useful to generate clean electric energy.

FLOATEE
The anti-drowning T-shirt is constituted of 3 main elements: The automatic inflator system The inflatable lifejacket The anti-UV T-shirt When the child is in immersion in the water, the system is automatically triggered thanks to a water-sensitive component, inflating in a flash the lifejacket contained within the T-shirt. The child is then brought back to the surface in less than 5 seconds and put on his/her back, keeping airways out of the water!
