Li-ion battery protection systems
The widespread use of lithium batteries on electric and hybrid vessels requires specific and highly reliable safety systems. The Vedetta Water Mist system is the ideal solution for this new challenge: its ability to rapidly cool cells and contain thermal runaway limits the risk of explosion and re-ignition, protecting people and infrastructure. Thanks to its dedicated design, the system ensures targeted action in battery rooms, maintaining temperature control and ensuring rapid, non-invasive interventions for sensitive electrical components. Fluoro-K gas extinguishing systems
Fluoro-K gas fire extinguishing systems are specifically designed for engine rooms on vessels under 500 GT. Fluoro-K acts in seconds, extinguishing fires at source without leaving residue, damaging machinery or electronic components, and ensuring complete safety for people and the environment. With extremely low global warming potential and zero ozone depletion, it represents the most sustainable choice among clean agent systems.
Aerosol fire extinguishing systems
We are official distributors in Italy for the maritime market for aerosol systems manufactured by Hafex. Our aerosol fire suppression systems provide fast, effective protection for machinery spaces, electrical cabinet and battery rooms by interrupting the chemical reaction of fire at its source. Compact, maintenance-friendly, and environmentally safe, these systems are ideal for enclosed areas where space and reliability are critical. With rapid activation and minimal residue, aerosol technology ensures maximum safety for equipment and personnel while reducing downtime and damage.
Water mist fire suppression system
Vedetta® water mist is the logical successor to sprinkler or high-pressure water mist systems offering ease of installation by the use of standard components. It requires a minimum of weight and power. A standard system on a 60mt yacht requires less than 20 kW so that emergency generator can be smaller, reducing cost and fuel consumption. The advanced technology of our low pressure water mist system is able to produce a mixture of small droplets in combination with mist ensuring a quicker and more reliable suppression than any other system can offer.
