About us
Tessilmare is an Italian company born in 1947, which produces nautical accessories: rub rails (both in PVC and 316 L Stainless Steel), marine fabrics and biminis.
Most of our fender profiles are Patented and thanks to their features, they can be used on yachts, military boats, workboats, tenders, houseboats, dock and pier protection.
Our fabrics are supplied in rolls of 1.80 m height and are also used to produce our biminis which are available in Aluminum and Stainless Steel, with 3 or 4 arches and have a Life-Time Warranty.

STRYKE Patent Pending Innovative Rub Rail
Our Pat. Pending STRYKE was designed to offer shipyards a modern, practical, and visually appealing solution. Its squared shape reflects the style preferred by most designers and boatbuilders, while the two-piece structure – base and insert – allows for easy installation and a consistently clean and elegant final result. The profile measures 160 mm, carefully designed to provide excellent protection without weighing down the boat’s lines. One of STRYKE’s key strengths is its packaging in continuous rolls: a choice that makes handling the material much more convenient, reduces waste, and minimizes storage and transport space. Moreover, by choosing the desired length, it is possible to create a completely continuous run, without visible cuts or joints, ensuring a flawless appearance along the entire perimeter of the hull. STRYKE is available in our three standard colors – Black RAL 9004, White RAL 9010, and Light Grey RAL 7047. Installation has also been designed to be as simple as possible: just glue and put a central screw directly into the PVC or, if preferred, into the optional Stainless Steel bar. The result is a quick and easy installation that reduces assembly time and, consequently, labor costs. In summary, STRYKE is a practical, modern, and cost-effective solution: a fender profile that is easy to handle, easy to install, and capable of delivering a clean and continuous aesthetic on any type of boat.
FLEX Fender Profile
FLEXY is the 150 mm fender profile designed to provide protection, versatility, and a modern aesthetic perfectly aligned with current designer requirements. Thanks to its highly flexible structure, it easily adapts to curved surfaces, corners, and irregular shapes. Made of soft PVC, FLEXY offers excellent performance against impacts and abrasions. Installation is simple and clean: the profile is glued directly onto the hull surface, significantly reducing installation time and costs. BINOX Patented Rub Rail - The First Stainless Steel Rub Rail without screws!
Our Patented BINOX Rub Rail was developed specifically for Mega Yachts. The Stainless Steel insert is pressure fitted directly onto its PVC base. You won’t see any unsightly screws on the Stainless-Steel surface. This leaves you with a beautiful mirrored finish that will look fantastic on any Yacht. The PVC base is supplied in reels of the required length, while the 316 L S/S bars are 3 m length. Available sizes : 25 mm, 35 mm 50 mm and 65 mm (Stainless Steel bar size).
SPHAERA Patented Innovative Rub Rail
SPHAERA is the first fender profile which combines higher technical performance with better quality and design. Its Duralene core guarantees its adaptability to the hull. Its Patented process prevents deformation and allows bending on difficult angles with a minimal effort. The PVC base (available in Standard and Slim versions) is supplied in reels of the required length, while the 316 L S/S bars of 3 m length are already pre-drilled. Available sizes : 25 mm, 35 mm, 50 mm and 65 mm (Stainless Steel bar size)
RADIAL Patented Rub Rail
Fast and easy to install, our Patented RADIAL is the PVC fender profile without rivals. It's different from all other profiles on the market and can be even cold fitted in just a few steps. The soft seamless insert is supplied in custom-cut reels to avoid waste, while the rigid track in bars of 2 m length. Available in several sizes from 30 up to 80 mm.
BINO Patented Rub Rail
BINO can be easily bent due to our Patented two piece design, which also allows to cover unaesthetic screws. Custom cut. Very flexible, can be used on yachts, military boats, workboats, tenders, houseboats, dock and pier protection. It is available in 3 sizes (40 mm, 65 mm and 90 mm) and 2 versions (with or without the lip which normally covers the gap between deck and hull).
BUMPER Patented Rub Rail
BUMPER is the first Fender Profile which represents the perfect alliance between lightweight and power. Developed with a Patented triple structure of PVC, it has wide inner air gaps that allows an absorption of impacts never been reached before. It can be easily installed, thanks to its modularity. Available sizes : 100 mm, 125 mm, 150 mm and 160 mm.
QBE Patented Rub Rail
QBE is a Patented squared shape fender profile made in flexible components with high quality PVC for marine use. Thanks to its revolutionary design, it can be adapted both to sandwich and boxed junction boats. Available in the 65 and 90 mm versions, it is suited for any recreational, commercial and military boats.
QbeSteel Patent Pending Rub Rail
QbeSteel is our new and extremely innovative Pat. Pending Rub Rail, that combines 2 different materials (PVC base and 316 L Stainless Steel bar) to offer the maximum possible protection to the hull, guaranteeing a valuable aesthetic result. QbeSteel is the first Stainless Steel fender profile for boats with a sandwich and also deck joints! The multi-purpose base in PVC has been designed to obtain maximum impact resistance while guaranteeing very low weight. Available sizes : 25, 35, 50 and 65 mm (Stainless Steel bar size).
MARINE FABRICS
Our Marine Fabrics are both used by Tessilmare for its own production line and sold directly as raw materials to those industrial manufacture boat covers as first equipment for all the European boatbuilders. They are made of 100% Italian polyester fibers, go through a total waterproofing process and are regularly tested in order to guarantee high quality and long life. Available in rolls of 1.80 m height.
