About us
Arcas Industrie S.r.L. was founded in 2007 from a great passion for engines and the whole world of performance. Over the years, the company has established itself among the top companies in the world in the field of sport exhausts for motorcycles and cars under the QD Exhaust and V Performance brands. The great passion for motorboating has always been a fundamental part of the life of the company's administrator and founder, Manuel De Liso, who wanted to bring the experience gained through years of production at the highest level also to the pleasure boating sector.
Thus QD MARINE was born.
The 2,500-square-meter production site has within it a laser cutting department, a mechanical machining department with 4 CNC milling machines and 2 lathes, two CNC tube benders, press brakes and 6 TIG welding stations with highly specialized personnel trained to perform head-to-head welds with inert gas flowing. Also housed within the facility is a carbon fiber lamination department where components are manufactured using RFI technology.
The engineering department works with a scanner and 3d printer, 3d CAD drawing and surface modeling software. The quality control and production system guarantees a quality level of absolute excellence.
Products
STAINLESS STEEL OR ALLUMINUM PORTHOLE MACHINED FROM SOLID
We produce portholes and windows in stainless steel or aluminum entirely machined from solid. The survey and sizing is carried out directly on board or on a file provided directly by the customer. This product is supplied complete with gaskets and everything necessary for installation
ANCHOR BOWSPRITS AND TROLLING MOTOR PLATES
We produce trolling motor plates and bow rollers entirely made of 316 stainless steel. Like all our creations, this too is "custom made". The sizing and layout is performed via on-board survey or via 3D CAD drawing provided by the customer.
MILLED ALUMINUM HATCHES
In our CNC department we mill aluminum anticorodal 6082 hatches.All the pieces are customized upor customer's request, we can also manage the surface treatment such as anodizing or painting and the upper face covering with teak or cork ,ade by the best italian wood carpentry. The manufacturing can be made upon customer's design or including on board measurement and design. all the hatches are complete of locks and handles.
CUSTOM MADE STAINLESS STEEL LADDERS
We manufacture custom ladders for fly-bridges or sea-descents, made of AISI 316 stainless steel structure equipped with solid teak steps with rubber joints.The construction can be done according to a drawing provided by the customer or including surveys and executive design.
WATER DISTRIBUTION MANIFOLDS
We made this 10" manifold for the cooling circuit of all onboard systems on a 30mt Benetti boat.The manifold supplies rawwater to the heat exchangers of the engines, generators and air conditioners. Made of fully welded carbon steel with 4 carryovers in a controlled atmosphere with inert gas fluxing. Fabrication was custom made in the workshop following the designer's specifications with 3d CAD drawing. On-board installation was carried out by our specialized technicians with the assistance of on-site personnel.
STAINLESS STEEL TANKS
We manufacture tanks for fuel, fresh water and black water, entirely made of TIG-welded AISI 304 stainless steel with flanges and pipe connections.The tanks are equipped where necessary with internal bulkheads, flanges for sensor and suction connection. We supply RI.NA approved caps and CE certification where requested. Tanks can be made by 3d designd or by on-site survey. Repairs of existing tanks are also carried out.
STAINLESS STEEL RISER
We manufacture fully TIG-welded stainless steel exhaust RISERS and manifolds.We can provide exhaust pipe sizing based on engine power and overall exhaust line length. We also make silencers entirely constructed of stainless steel or fiberglass with internal silencing bulkheads. Dimensions and layout is calculated by on-board survey or by 3d cad drawing provided by the customer. All pipings are entirely made of TIG welded 316 stainless steel with internal inert gas fluxing.
